What we expect from you |
As a low voltage systems engineer, designing and coordinating our technical system deployment is the primary resource role. Roles will include:
Understanding and documenting client needs, goals and objectives
System design of low voltage systems including audio/visual, physical security, telecommunications and network infrastructure
Drafting rack elevations, line diagrams, floor plans and elevations
Creating system bills of material and associated project budgeting
Design, maintain and monitor project plans and gannt charts
Communicating on a regular basis with architects, engineers and vendors for proper design and coordination of multiple large-scale projects
Develop specification, scope of work and design documents for low voltage systems
Ensure compliance to engineering standards, codes, regulatory requirements and specifications
Attend job site meetings, direct contractors and provide project management reports
Assisting team members with project documentation and related tasks as needed
What you will need to succeed |
Qualifying candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Studies of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent engineering degree
Computing system design experience (a plus)
Low voltage system design experience
Outstanding writing and documentation skills
Professional communication skills
Organizational skill set and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Valid drivers license and ability to travel (local and limited long-distance)
