    Job Title:
    Events Management OPS Staff


    Job Summary:
    ONLY APPLY if you are able to work in May, June and August

    July will be slow and business picks up again in August


    • Responsible to setting up conference rooms/meeting space with tables, chairs, linen and AV equipment, maintaining, breakdown and reset for events
    • Able to lift up to and including 40 lbs
    • Good knowledge of audio visual equipment as well as PC and Laptop connections
    • Excellent oral and written skills
    • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
    • Must respond quickly to clients, supervisors and managers request in timely and professional manner
    • Follow school policies and procedures by providing a professional image and behavior at all times
    • Work Study and Non Work Study

    Qualifications

    Ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, reliable, conscientious, positive and motivated to take initiative and learn. Proficient in MS Office for both MAC and PC. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Basic knowledge of administrative tasks required. Must be comfortable moving and setting up (sometimes heavy) furniture. Knowledge of audio/visual equipment highly recommended. Previous professional and customer service experience preferred, especially in the hospitality industry. Must be able to multi-task and work under pressure.

    You will be the face of the events management and guest services office, thus are expected to be professional both in conduct and appearance.
