Jocelyn Lambert

Aspiring journalist, experienced writer and researcher, and certified yoga instructor. Passionate about health and wellness, travel, and news and politics. Recently completed an Honors Thesis on social media and extremism, to be published in the University of San Francisco Globus Journal in Spring, 2022. Highly organized conceptual and creative thinker, speed-reader, detail-oriented, and thrive in a dynamic and communicative environment. 

Worked as Research Assistant at the University of San Francisco (September-December 2021); conducted complicated data mining and organization, culminating in an extensive written report. Also while at USF, worked as a Teaching Assistant (specifically evaluating student essays and writing), Computer Science Student Assistant, and Mellon Scholar intern. 

Managed and coordinated 3 different creative projects as an intern at the Los Altos History Museum (January-December 2019); roles included event management, social media promotion, client communication, program development, and creative research and writing. 

Managed volunteer and partner engagement as the Volunteer Development Lead (May-September 2020) at Perfect Strangers, a COVID-19 relief nonprofit. Important achievements include the copy-writing and creative conceptual development of company newsletter.

B.A. in International Studies, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of San Francisco. 

Completed Honors Thesis “A Beast Reborn: Digital Extremism and Germany's Far-Right," to be published as an abridged article in the USF Globus Journal spring 2022.
