Objectives of this role:


  • Oversee strategic operations business objectives, from development through successful execution, under the guidance of the VP of Operations and Global Supply Chain.
  • Assist and communicate with the Operations and Global Supply Chain leadership team in decisionmaking, program management and initiative implementation.
  • Review, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure; find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them.
  • Optimize the Management Operating System (MOS) and communications to enable the organization to achieve its goals and objectives (milestones).
  • Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop/evolve the MOS for the team including strategy/milestone flowdown, Key Process Indicators (KPIs), meetings, and overall flow of information and data for decision making.
  • Serve as liaison between staff and leadership regarding company project updates, proposals, and planning.
  • Develop and build on relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations, and help define and drive implementation of new operational strategies by working with the VP of Operations and Global Supply Chain on special projects.
  • Oversight and development of a continuous improvement culture/mindset including Lean and 6 Sigma methodologies.
  • Drives budgeting process for Ops & SC, working with Finance and leaders to refine processes to achieve budget targets

Required skills and qualifications:


  • Degree in Engineering and Masters in Business Administration
  • Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
  • Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity
  • Demonstrated facilitation/presentation skills

Preferred skills and qualifications:


  • Experience in data analysis and finance/budget management
  • Proven success in program management roles; organizing, driving people and projects
  • Nimble business mind, focused on developing creative solutions
  • Strong projectreporting skills, with focus on interdepartmental communications
  • Black Belt in lean and/or 6Sigma a plus
The Bay Area salary for this role is $190k-$220k base + pre-IPO stock options + benefits. This position is on-site in Menlo Park, CA. The salary will be adjusted based on the experience of the employee.

We generally do not negotiate on salary once we have made an offer.

The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise.

New hires joining the company tend to be paid within the starting base pay range noted above, with opportunities to increase pay over time based on development of additional skills, competencies, and company-specific knowledge.
