The Company is a renowned global manufacturer and supplier of electrical equipment and products, aims to solidify its brand presence in the North American market.
The Production Manager is tasked with overarching responsibilities in HR, administration, and safety, ensuring the well-being and efficiency of production workers.
This role involves overseeing the management of facilities and miscellaneous items related to Bastrop operations, coordinating the receipt, storage, and handling of materials or products, and addressing production equipment issues to ensure timely manufacturing outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesManage production timelines and worker attendance to ensure timely product manufacturing and oversight.
Ensure worker safety, including communication with OSHA.
Streamline workers' roles and responsibilities (R&R) and derive efficiency improvement measures.
Manage worker grievances and suggestions.
Oversee the loading and unloading of products and equipment, including operation of forklifts.
Maintain equipment, managing repairs and upkeep as necessary.
Enhance the manufacturing environment for improved efficiency.
Collaborate with LSE Manufacturing for environmental improvements in product manufacturing.
Work with LSE Quality Standards (QS) for product quality enhancement and inspection process improvements.
Manage production lots to prevent intermixing and ensure lot integrity.
Prevent tool loss within the factory and manage additional tool inventory.
Oversee Class C material management and replenishment within the factory.
Manage the factory's machine and electrical rooms.
Address and manage tasks related to factory expansion as needed.
Handle loading and unloading of necessary materials for the factory.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing.
Preference for candidates with electrical knowledge (to prevent electrical accidents).
Bilingual in Korean and English required
Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in fulfilling orders.
Familiarity with inventory software, capable of efficiently inputting and retrieving data.
Basic mathematical skills for effective inventory management.
Certification as a forklift operator is desirable.
Team-oriented with strong organizational focus.
Computer proficiency.
Additional certifications are advantageous.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the competency to clearly articulate both technical and non-technical concepts.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for prolonged periods.
