magniX is seeking to hire a Thermal Management Engineer to support the development of thermal management solutions for our Electric Propulsion Units and Energy Storage System products.
Primary ResponsibilitiesContribute to the full lifecycle development of thermal management systems including design, development, testing, and analysis
Design and select optimal components and manufacturers for pumps, compressors, valves, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, controls and sensors
Perform thermal analysis at the system, sub-system, and component levels to assess and guide design
Develop and optimize state-of-the-art heat transfer systems for size, weight and performance
Create test plans and reports and perform any necessary thermal analyses pre and post-test
Perform CFD analysis to optimize the thermal performance of systems under normal and abuse conditions
Qualifications
BS in Mechanical and/or Aerospace Engineering
5+ years' experience with thermal/fluids modeling and thermal management solution design
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of CFD analysis, preferably in Ansys
Excellent organizational, planning, and follow-up skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with others
An attitude of curiosity and learning
Location

This position's approximate base salary range is $120, $145,000.00 per year.
