- Perform CAPA investigations and lead efforts to resolve quality issues
- Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
- Develop process flow charts to improve efficiency and quality
- Train extrusion technicians on quality procedures and best practices
- Communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and maintain relationships
- Analyze SPC data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9000 standards and participate in internal and external audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide support and guidance to production and engineering teams to improve quality
- 4 Direct Reports
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in plastic extrusion or related industry
- Strong understanding of SPC and statistical analysis tools
- Experience with CAPA investigations, quality audits, and process improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards and experience with internal and external audits
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
