Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Manage aspects of project accounting, including job cost tracking, billing, and revenue recognition.
Work directly with clients, operations, accounting, and other RPM departments to process AP timely.
Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amounts and coding per accounting policies and procedures.
Analyze project budgets, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
Advise management on financial decisions related to projects by providing financial information, analysis, and recommendations.
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
3+ years of proven accounting experience.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Experience with creating financial statements.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
