    Job DescriptionJob Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

    Responsibilities:
    • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
    • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
    • Manage aspects of project accounting, including job cost tracking, billing, and revenue recognition.
    • Work directly with clients, operations, accounting, and other RPM departments to process AP timely.
    • Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amounts and coding per accounting policies and procedures.
    • Analyze project budgets, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
    • Advise management on financial decisions related to projects by providing financial information, analysis, and recommendations.
    • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
    • Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
    • 3+ years of proven accounting experience.
    • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
    • Experience with creating financial statements.
    • Accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
