- Drive lean and effective process and contract landscape in indirect purchasing
- Ensure continuous improvement of processes / procedures to ensure high service level to Internal Business Partners
- Act as Regional Key Account for AMEC to support Internal Business Partners, e.g. with perspective to processes
- Support and lead a regional indirect purchasing team
- Assess and manage current sourcing processes and act as a "consultant" to meeting current business needs
- Lead cross-functional projects and work with a variety of groups to understand the procurement requirements and establish cost effective negotiation tactics and strategies
- Establish and manage relationships with internal customers/stakeholders
- Form business partnerships with key suppliers
- Establish sourcing policies and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience in purchasing, indirect purchasing experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to regularly travel domestically/regionally (up to 25%) and internationally (1-2 times/year)
- Passionate, flexible and performance oriented with a high level of resilience and assertiveness.
- Strong team player with preference to work in international teams.
- Self-motivated, structured and bring an entrepreneurial mindset.
- You have a high affinity for cross-departmental cooperation and international business.
- Proven track record in achieving objectives, experience in leadership and stakeholder management.
- Master's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or similar.
- Previous experience with indirect materials, as well as experience in material field and supplier strategy is strongly preferred.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred. German is an additional plus.
