    **Senior Warehouse Manager**

    **Operations | Newark, CA | Full Time**

    **Job Responsibilities:**

    Manage and implement a new warehouse in a greenfield location at Newark Ca.

    Schedule and oversee employee job assignments to meet customer needs.

    Provides leadership and direct supervision to team of warehouse employees.

    Supervise hourly and temporary employees.

    Participate in hiring decisions of new employees and monitor employee performance.

    Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.

    Conduct performance evaluations and administer corrective action when appropriate.

    Warehouse Supervisors may train new employees on equipment operation, shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, forklift certified, and other warehouse responsibilities.

    Set a positive example for employees by demonstrating safe work habits, dependability, and commitment to perform quality work.

    Assist in leading safety meetings and implementing safety initiatives.

    Keep staff well informed of new procedures and any other changes.

    Tracking and researching shorts.

    Inventory and process control.

    Implement inventory control and cycle counts.

    Create KPI for reporting to management.

    May compile and analyze data and reports related to warehouse operations.

    Complete other assignments and projects as requested by management.

    Participate in interviewing and hiring decisions.

    Authority to administer corrective action and recommend pay increases.

    No authority to terminate employees without management and Human Resources approval.

    May assist in budgeting activities and salary administration.

    Coordinates activities of Warehouse employees engaged in receiving, picking and packing of inventory and non-inventory items, Cyclic Inventory, Excess, and Automated Support Systems.

    Manages all time and attendance activities such as overtime tracking and paid/unpaid time off including vacation and sick leave.

    Act as EHS leader in the warehouse.

    Scheduling multiple units and prioritizing shipments with production team.

    Extensive use of Excel to create, maintain and analyze reports.

    Utilize WMS metrics reporting and other tools to increase warehouse productivity.

    Recommend improvement measures.

    Overall dedication to completing the daily tasks required, both directed and implied.

    **Education/Skills Required:**

    At least 5 years of warehouse and inventory management in a manufacturing organization.

    Implemented a warehouse and knowledge of manufacturing work order fulfillment for electronics.

    Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, web applications, and general office equipment required

    Present a professional appearance and wear personal protective equipment.
