Description
EventLink is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager, local to the Bay Area, with a focus on logistics and operations, to manage our local warehouse.
We are looking for a well-versed manager with previous client and consumer facing experience that is able to work independently.
This is a full-time position, 40+ hours per week, with excellent compensation, working within the event and spirits industry.Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the warehouse (4,000sqft)
- Handle shipping and receiving
- Assist in coordinating logistics/shipments to event sites
- Ensure inventory is monitored, maintained and stored properly
- Maintain company D.O.T. records and compliance
- Assist with prepping and assembling event assets for pickup/dropoff
- Ability to travel in market for onsite events, as needed
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing standards and procedures
Education:
- High school diploma or GED
Experience:
- Previous warehouse or asset/inventory management required (3 to 5years)
- Trailer/DOT experience is a plus
- Previous alcoholic beverage experience preferred
Skills:
- Must be able to lift 50+lbs
- Ability to drive box trucks and small trailers (< 26ft) and obtain DOT physical compliance
- General carpentry, mechanic, and handyman skills
- Must have a car, valid license, and clean driving record
- Professional demeanor and previous clientmanagement experience
- Forklift certified/experience preferred
Schedule:
- Must be flexible with work schedules
- Will require some nights/weekends based on event schedules
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check as well as a driving test required under company policy.
