- Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to, activities related to the receiving, storing, and/or shipping of materials or finished goods.
- Ensures materials are received from proper vendors, that they are placed in proper inventory locations, and that finished goods are packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner.
- Reviews receipt of all materials to ensure purchase orders are open and the quality of materials received is correct such as materials certificates, First Article Inspection documents, etc.
- Ensures the security, accuracy, and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.
- Ensures materials are picked and kitted, and are available to meet production schedules and/or products are shipped as per marketing schedules.
- Establishes and modifies operational methods and procedures.
- Maintains documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities.
- Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in receiving, storing and distributing of metals and purchased parts, and assist with and perform other material handling duties.
- Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
- Lifts heavy items and operate a forklift (standing up, sitting down rider, and hand pallet jack).
- Examines stock and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
- Follows all company and facility policies including quality, safety, conduct and attendance.
- BS Degree preferred or High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience managing all aspects of handling materials including receiving, inventory control, shipping, and managing logistics personnel.
- Candidate must be proficient with Oracle and Microsoft Office
- Crating experience preferred
- Packaging experience preferred
- FedEx, UPS, International shipments, and commercial invoices experience preferred
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Must be a team player and capable of interacting with multiple groups both internal and external customers.
- Must be able to read and understand English
- Must be flexible with schedule changes and work extended hours when required.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Job Purpose:
The Warehouse Manager will responsibilities include any of the following activities related to the receiving, storing, and/or shipping of materials or finished goods: ensures materials are received from proper vendors, that they are delivered to inventory, and that finished goods are packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner. Manages the activities of the team and is responsible for staffing decisions, training and development,and performance management of the staff.
