We have the capacity to machine components up to 3 meters. Our metal fabrication services include grinding, vacuum welding, heat treating, plating and anodizing. We can process many advanced materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, ferrous-nonferrous and other exotic alloys.Job Purpose:
The Warehouse Manager will responsibilities include any of the following activities related to the receiving, storing, and/or shipping of materials or finished goods: ensures materials are received from proper vendors, that they are delivered to inventory, and that finished goods are packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner.
Manages the activities of the team and is responsible for staffing decisions, training and development, and performance management of the staff.
Nature of Duties Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to, activities related to the receiving, storing, and/or shipping of materials or finished goods.
Ensures materials are received from proper vendors, that they are placed in proper inventory locations, and that finished goods are packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner.
Reviews receipt of all materials to ensure purchase orders are open and the quality of materials received is correct such as materials certificates, First Article Inspection documents, etc.
Ensures the security, accuracy, and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.Ensures materials are picked and kitted, and are available to meet production schedules and/or products are shipped as per marketing schedules.
Establishes and modifies operational methods and procedures.Maintains documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities.
Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in receiving, storing and distributing of metals and purchased parts, and assist with and perform other material handling duties.
Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.Lifts heavy items and operate a forklift (standing up, sitting down rider, and hand pallet jack).
Examines stock and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
Follows all company and facility policies including quality, safety, conduct and attendance.
Education and Experience:
BS Degree preferred or High school diploma or equivalent education.
Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience managing all aspects of handling materials including receiving, inventory control, shipping, and managing logistics personnel.
Candidate must be proficient with Oracle and Microsoft OfficeCrating experience preferred
Packaging experience preferred
FedEx, UPS, International shipments, and commercial invoices experience preferred
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Must be a team player and capable of interacting with multiple groups both internal and external customers.
Must be able to read and understand English
Must be flexible with schedule changes and work extended hours when required.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
