- Conducts and supervises Child Welfare Employee Licensure (CWEL) investigations

Position OverviewThe Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented
individual to serve as Internal Investigations Manager/Staff Attorney in the Office of Inspector General. Under administrative direction, this position will direct and manage investigations, initiating methods and techniques to be used.
The position will monitor investigations to ensure the preservation of evidence for possible criminal prosecution and to
ensure that staff analyze evidence to determine whether criminal prosecution, disciplinary, or licensure action is warranted. The position will also conduct and supervise Child Welfare Employee Licensure investigations.
This position provides a great opportunity for someone who has a strong commitment to investigating allegations of misconduct and working to provide resolution of such cases.
