Position Overview:
Take charge of our Continuous Improvement (CI) department and propel our manufacturing and distribution facility to new levels of performance.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, develop talented CI professionals, and optimize processes across cost, quality, productivity, and material flow.
Automotive experience is highly valuedWhat You'll Do:
Lead by Example:
Manage, mentor, and grow our CI team, including engineers, technicians, a fabricator, and interns
Drive Results:
Analyze processes, map value streams, and execute strategic initiatives to enhance OEE, labor efficiency, material flow, and quality
Champion Lean & Six Sigma:
Implement principles from our Production System, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma to eliminate waste and streamline operations
Build a CI Culture:
Facilitate targeted training programs, Kaizen events, and more to instill a continuous improvement mindset across the facility
Problem-Solver Extraordinaire:
Utilize root cause analysis, process capability studies, and error-proofing to prevent problems and drive lasting solutions.
Your Qualifications
Education:
BS degree in Industrial Engineering (or closely related field) preferredExperience: Minimum 5 years (10+ preferred) in an industrial manufacturing environment, with 3+ years in a CI leadership role.
Automotive experience is a major plusComputer Skills:
Microsoft Office, and ideally Visio, Access, or AutoCADLeader & Trainer: Proven ability to develop CI talent, manage projects effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Bonus:
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
Location:
southern suburb of Atlanta
Salary:
$110,000 - $125,000 per year + up to 15% bonus
