    Job Opportunity: Medical Collector (AR Specialist)

    Location: East Hanover, NJ

    Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist looking to advance your career in the healthcare industry? We have an exciting opportunity for you We are currently seeking full-time AR Specialists to join our Billing Department in East Hanover, NJ.

    Position Overview:

    As an AR Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing accounts receivable, following up on outstanding claims, and ensuring efficient denial management. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of AR processes, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct AR follow-up activities to ensure timely payment of outstanding claims.
    • Manage denials and appeals processes effectively.
    • Maintain accurate and organized records of patient accounts.
    • Collaborate with team members to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.
    • Utilize practice management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and payer software solutions for efficient claims processing.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 2 years of billing and accounts receivable experience.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to independently prioritize workload.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare industry.
    • Familiarity with practice management systems and payer software solutions (e.g., Navinet, Availity).
    • Proficiency in using payer-specific websites for claims status inquiries.
