    Description

    A newly established museum attraction in New York City, is seeking a seasoned and visionary Director of Marketing to lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the museum's brand identity, driving visitor engagement, and increasing awareness within the local and global community.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to promote the Museum and its exhibitions, events, and programs.
    2. Lead a talented marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives.
    3. Oversee all aspects of marketing communications, including digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, advertising, and public relations.
    4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including curatorial, education, and development teams, to align marketing efforts with organizational goals and objectives.
    5. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and audience insights, informing marketing strategies and decision-making.
    6. Manage the museum's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
    7. Establish and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, community partners, and other relevant stakeholders to amplify the museum's reach and impact.
    8. Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, tracking key metrics and adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
    9. Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and cultural trends, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.
    10. Represent [Your Museum Name] at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, fostering connections and partnerships to support the museum's mission and growth.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • 8-10+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles.
    • Extensive knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics, particularly within the cultural or tourism sector.
    • Strong creative and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and engage with external partners and stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and analytics.
    • Demonstrated experience in budget management, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
    • A passion for arts and culture, with a deep appreciation for the museum's mission and vision
