    Job Description

    Job DescriptionThe Sales Assistant is responsible for supporting the sales team in order to contribute to all processes that will aid in profitable sales growth. This individual will handle details of the business including sales reports, inventory management, meeting preparation, meeting follow-up, warehouse communications and working cross-functionally across multiple departments to ensure Sales team needs are met efficiently and effectively. Time management, prioritization of responsibilities and attention to detail are all critical to success in this role.


    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Inventory tracking and management using ABS Software
    Customer PO tracking and approvals, as needed. Manage PO logs for customers.
    Work with order processing and shipping team to track and manage orders, trouble shoot issues
    Pull weekly sales from customer portal for sales team analysis
    Summarizing and publishing excess and closeout availability, creating line sheets for sales team to send to customers
    Preparing materials, samples, and physical spaces for all retailer and internal meetings, ensuring that all recaps and documents are prepared in a timely manner
    Professionally following up with retailers on all open issues and opportunities.
    Managing retailer-based systems, such as NuOrder at Nordstrom, in order to provide excellent service to our accounts, thereby creating strong positive relationships with our customers
    Working with the Production team on additional order needs (i.e., tickets, packing instructions, etc.).
    Working with Customer Service to quickly solve and clear all order complications
    Working with warehouse on all necessary shipping and packing details
    Traveling to stores and/or customers as needed to support the business
    Support VP of Sales with order management, as needed
    Taking on special projects as directed by the President and VP of Sales
