    Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for K-12


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language skills.
    • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments.
    • Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student learning and communication.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, evaluations, and therapy sessions.
    • Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input on student goals and progress.
    • Stay informed about current practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
    • Provide support and training to school staff on speech and language development and interventions.

    Qualifications:

    • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility for licensure in Maine).
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
    • Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment.
