    Description
    POSITION TITLE: PROJECT ENGINEER

    SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
    This role provides support for operations on the projects they are involved in. Responsibilities include participating in initial project setup, estimating costs, tracking job quantities, monitoring daily on-site activities, overseeing concrete material usage, tracking equipment and manpower productivity, approving invoices, managing extra work requests, participating in job cost reporting, ensuring project safety compliance, overseeing quality control, and analyzing production.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Ensuring project safety compliance.
    • Estimating job costs and spreads.
    • Participating in project scheduling.
    • Tracking project quantities and progress.
    • Analyzing and tracking production.
    • Contributing to project cost reporting.
    • Approving invoice coding.
    • Procuring materials and equipment.
    • Managing change order requests.
    • Coordinating with General Contractors/Owners.
    • Collaborating with B&B Operations manager on resources and manpower.

    • Monitoring construction schedules, anticipating setbacks, and communication to stakeholders.
    • Setting and reinforcing safety expectations, overseeing safety audits, addressing critical safety issues, and contributing to improvement initiatives.
    Education/Experience/Attributes/Requirements:
    • 0-5 years of experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
    • Basic understanding of construction principles and practices.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptable approach, energetic and motivated.
    • Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to work independently and within a team.
    • Physical capabilities to navigate job sites, climb ladders, and scaffolding.
