- Managed Hexagon MineProtect’s Operator Alertness System which included multiple embedded, server and user platforms. The Hexagon MineProtect Operator Alertness System (OAS) is a computer vision system that detects fatigue and distraction events in operators through measuring their head and eye movements using Machine Learning algorithms. When an event is detected, the operator is alerted in real time through audible and haptic alerts, while a short video clip and metadata are uploaded to a central server for review and action within the OASWeb system. The OAS Machine Learning algorithms are trained using specific datasets from the mining industry and operations, combined with onboard telemetric data to ensure timely prevention of potential incidents.

Products were designed, tested, and certified for very rugged mining environments. Products were installed across open pit and underground operations in both heavy and light machinery.
