    Our Engineering Team in Tucson, AZ is seeking a skilled Traffic Project Engineer to join us at Psomas.


    Role Overview as our Project Engineer - Traffic

    As a Project Engineer - Traffic based in our Tucson, AZ office, you will collaborate with the Project Manager on various projects for public, private, and institutional clients that involve significant traffic engineering elements. Your tasks may include traffic modeling, impact studies, safety assessments, signal timing, and more.


    Key Responsibilities for Project Engineer - Traffic

    • Manage technical project aspects and review project deliverables
    • Brainstorm solutions for complex engineering challenges
    • Coordinate with team members and external partners
    • Ensure project adheres to schedule and budget
    • Ensure quality standards are met and client satisfaction is achieved
    • Engage with clients and deliver presentations

    Minimum Requirements for Project Engineer - Traffic

    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
    • At least 4 years of relevant experience
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona (or eligibility)
    • Proficiency in traffic engineering and relevant software
    • Strong communication skills
