Positions: US General Manager - AgriTech

Location: California

International AgriTech company with cutting edge technologies for measuring and managing main crop indicators is recruiting an individual to run their U.S. operation.

This well established company is looking for top management that can take the company to the next level.

The individual we are looking for will have worked with technologies that capture data and provide it to the growers with insights on how to improve crop productivity.

The must have is the ability to grow a distribution network with a level of credibility of having done it before, as well as having managed but sales and support individuals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute company's marketing strategy in the U.S.

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, investors, and Group Management

• Identify opportunities and threats and develop appropriate actions

• Build comprehensive work plans, aligned with the company's strategy

• Define and manage KPI's for the team.

• Mentor and motivate a high-performing team

• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence

• Direct and oversee day-to-day operations

• Manage efficient resource allocation and utilization optimized

• Stay on top of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors

• Monitor industry changes and competitor performance

• Perform financial planning and budget management

• Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability

• Oversee the preparation and submission of financial reports and analysis

Qualifications

• Appropriate college degree in Agriculture or related

• Extensive senior management experience, in agriculture

• Experience with working with and growing distribution network

• Ability to lead, motivate and develop staff.

• Have strategic planning, marketing, financial management, operational management skills

• Knowledge of water, electronics, software, data and agricultural industries.

• Negotiation and partnering skills.

• Appropriate career positions and tenure, to set into General Manager role
