    Determine and assess care center clinicaltraining and educational needs, develops an educational plan and reportseducation program updates to the Administrator and Director of NursingAssumes responsibility for directing thein-service educational programs and completing competency skills annually andas neededCoordinates the onboarding and orientationprograms for newly hired clinical team members.

    Directs the preceptor and/ormentor programs for new employeesSupports recruitment of clinical positionsincluding contacting applicants, interviewing, conducting reference checks andcompleting new hire onboardingAssists in the management of the InfectionControl Program and Antibiotic Stewardship including acting as an InfectionPreventionists (as required) and completing specialized training in infectioncontrol.

    Provides training to staff on infection control practices,investigates and reports incidents of infection and tracks infection dataTracks and maintain team member credentialsincluding but not limited to licensure, Hepatitis B and TB, in accordance withPrestige policy and state and federal regulationsParticipates in leadership team by activelycontributing in decision making, grievance follow up, building and company-wideinitiatives and attending leadership team meetings such as daily stand up,Managing Acute Care Conditions (MACC), Nutrition at Risk (NAR), UtilizationReview (UR), Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) and othermeetings as required Education & Experienceyou need to qualify: You need to have a Bachelor of Science inNursing or Associate Degree in NursingYou must have an unencumbered license as aRegistered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of practiceRegistered Nurse preferredMinimum of one year of nursing experience inacute or long-term careOne year in a supervisory or management positionwith experience with staff development, training and scheduling preferred.
