- Scope and create our data architecture / data systems (this is a hands-on role, and you'll be implementing the data systems as we grow our data capabilities)
- Design, develop and maintain high-capacity and scalable data pipelines
- Design, develop and maintain API based or file based ETL/ELT processes for raw data collection from multiple sources
- Manage data tools
- Collaborate with executives and cross-functional stakeholders to translate data needs into data systems and actionable reports
- Contribute to partner and vendor selection and management
- Build and maintain KPI dashboards
- Contribute to building a data-centric-decision-making culture while reducing analysis paralysis
- Provide thought leadership and collaborate with other team members to continue to scale our architecture to evolve for the needs of tomorrow
- Bachelor's degree in computer science / information science / related field
- 6+ years building data systems / working with data architecture
- Subject matter expert on data system design and best practices
- Experience collecting, storing, and manipulating customer; ecommerce; marketing; sales; and product data
- Python (required)
- SQL (required)
- Git (required)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, competing priorities and tight deadlines simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy
- Ability to communicate and coordinate across multiple stakeholders, from CEO and executive team to engineering, design, and outside service providers
