Description
Primary Talent Partners has 1 opening for an Accounting Manager to join our client. This is a W2 contract opening, contract extensions are based on performance, budget, and business needs.Pay:
$85-90/hr
Duration: 12-month W2 contract - no sponsorship, no 1099, no c2c at all
Location:
Hybrid in San Jose, CA - 3x onsite per week
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance-related field; CPA preferred
Manage the execution of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including consolidations, FX remeasurement, and translation
Lead a team of staff accountants and provide oversight for the team's deliverables
Review complex journal entries and accounts reconciliations
Oversee GL master data maintenance
Oversee cloud spend and internal-use software
Manage and perform SOX control requirements for responsible areas
Perform quarterly flux analysis
Review of monthly accruals
Drive process improvements and lead exciting accounting transformation projects to achieve scalability, efficiency, and productivity
Work closely with internal stakeholders:
finance, internal audit, treasury, and tax
Support M&A activities from an accounting perspective
Support lease accounting processes and controls under ASC 842 as needed
Manage annual audit
Ad hoc projects and analyses
Skills:
Experience leading a team is a must
Experience in SAP is a must
10+ years of accounting experience in multinational tech companies
Must demonstrate strong strategic, analytical, interpersonal, prioritization, and communication skills
Must demonstrate the ability to turn around deliverables and reviews quickly while maintaining strict accuracy standards
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Experience in consolidations, intercompany, and foreign currency matters, including remeasurement and translation, is highly preferred
Familiarity with Blackline and Tableau is highly preferred
Familiarity with cloud spend and internal-use software is highly preferred
A deep understanding of ASC 842 is highly preferred
Tech savvy
Self-motivated and resourceful
