    JOB SUMMARYThe marketing associate helps oversee multiple locations and fulfills marketing needs including social media, email communication, and website content updates.

    In addition, this position is part of a team that acts as the liaison between gyms and the marketing team ensuring a healthy blend of operational communications and brand awareness in support of our goals and values.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIESExecutes regional digital marketing plan based on national strategies to generate leads, build brand awareness, drive growth and engagement in conjunction with the marketing and operations teams.

    Helps identify and execute plans that address opportunities and provide insights and strategy input to marketing and gym teamsTakes direction from the Asst.

    Director of Marketing for current priorities, projects, and initiativesServes as the liaison between gym operations and marketing team for multiple locationsManages multiple projects and communications of those projects simultaneously utilizing project management softwareResponsible for local marketing efforts including:
    Social mediaEmailWebsiteGoogle My Business, local listings, etc.

    Content creationAdditional opportunities as they comeJOB REQUIREMENTS2+ years of marketing experienceMust have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detailMust be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skills and a desire to work as part of a teamSolid computer skills (web-based applications, word, excel, social media platforms, etc.) Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketingSkilled at writing and proofing in several different communication formatsUnderstanding of basic photography and videography skills using a phone or pad Experience with Asana or other project management software Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONThis is a part-time position located in the Chicago area and oversees marketing in both Chicago gyms.

    This position will work with the remote marketing team as well as partner with the local operations team. Some day-to-day can be remote but will require weekly visits to gyms.
