    Description
    Middleground is a managed IT service provider located in the Chicago area.

    We are looking for a Marketing Associate to help plan and implement marketing and advertising activities for us and our clients.

    For this role, you should understand the full marketing mix and be familiar with ways to analyze market research and customers' behavior.

    You should also be able to create spreadsheets and analyze quantitative data to interpret ROI and KPI metrics. Ultimately, you should help us and our clients achieve our business goals through building strong marketing campaigns.
    ResponsibilitiesConduct market research to identify new opportunitiesGather and analyze consumer behavior data (e.g. web traffic and rankings)Create reports on marketing and sales metrics, like conversion ratesAssist with organizing promotional eventsCoordinate with the team to create advertising materialSocial media management on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedInSEO and SEM activitiesEmail marketing campaigns and managementKeep organized records of marketing metrics and results of past campaignsPrepare regular sales forecasting reportsMonitor competitors' marketing activitiesRequirementsProven work experience as a Marketing Associate, Marketing Assistant or similar roleKnowledge of marketing digital tools and techniquesExperience with SEO/SEM campaignsSolid computer skills, including MS Excel, web analytics and Google AdwordsExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitudeBSc degree in Marketing or relevant field or equivalent experienceThis will be a full time salaried position.
