- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Business, OR 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in the Hospitality Industry
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry; Country Club experience is a bonus.

- Aid in managing and supervising daily operations of the accounting department.
- Operate following established standards, procedures, and relevant laws.
- Safeguard club operations by maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial and member information.
- Execute basic office tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, processing mail, filing, etc.
- Precisely prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
- Reconcile cash tenders and post daily charges to member accounts.
- Post member AR payments, including monthly ACH & credit card autopayments.
- Prepare bank deposits and process them through the bank.
- Research, track, and resolve accounting or documentation issues and discrepancies.
- Provide prompt and courteous assistance to members in addressing inquiries and correcting member statements in case of charging errors.
- Distribute collections notices for past due members.
- Follow corporate policy in suspending delinquent members and collaborate with the General Manager to collect payments.
- Provide prompt and courteous assistance and support to company personnel in accounting inquiries.
- Process weekly check runs and ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time.
- Balance Vendor statements each month to ensure no invoices are missing.
- Maintain records of invoices and payments.
- Verify departmental coding of invoices and ensure managers are following proper accounting procedures.
- Prepare 1099s annually.
- Collaborate with the membership director to accurately process new members, downgrades, upgrades, and resignations.
- Process electronic onboarding of new hires, pay rate changes, and employee terminations.
- Aid the Controller with other payroll duties as requested.
- Assist the Controller with bank statement reconciliation and other various month-end duties, as requested.
- Support the Controller with special projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
