- Assist in the development of annual operational budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Analyze actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers of variance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for operational areas
- Track and present financial results and key performance indicators to department heads and senior management
- Work closely with Accounting to assist in monthly close process including providing information related to accruals
- Analyze costs and expenses related to operations, including labor, materials and overhead
- Work with operational teams to develop and implement cost reduction initiatives
- Maintain financial models to support operational decision-making
- Assist in the evaluation of capital investments and other strategic initiatives
- Conduct research and analysis to address specific operational questions or challenges
- Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as assigned
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or related field
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel; experience with financial planning software (e.g. Adaptive, Hyperion) is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting and analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
