    As an Operations Support Specialist I at SoBran's controlled access mail screening facility in Washington, D.C., you'll be a vital member of a dynamic team responsible for sorting, screening, and handling various types of mail securely. This entry-level position offers comprehensive training to prepare you for a range of tasks related to mail screening, logistics, and operational support.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure accountability of incoming and outgoing products
    • Visually inspect mail for any suspicious stains or substances
    • Receive, sort, and screen incoming mail following established guidelines
    • Perform x-ray screening operations
    • Conduct housekeeping and other logistics duties
    • Service and maintain equipment

    Experience and Requirements:

    • Prior experience in secure mail handling or similar operations
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
    • Capability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs for a distance of 25 yards
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • All candidates must complete annual training courses as per SoBran's contract requirements. U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
