Description
A client in Bowling Green, KY is hiring a corporate accountant to join their team. The company is on a hybrid schedule, working in office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays in office. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial processes and ensuring compliance within our organization.Your responsibilities will encompass the following areas:
o You will revamp existing reporting processes, leveraging your strong Excel skills. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency while setting up purchase orders, creating and entering invoices.
This company has a credit card program that will be a large part of the day to day, so in this role you will manage credit card requests, auditing statements, and reporting.
It's imperative that this candidate has strong attention to detail to ensure all reporting is completed efficiently and accurately. You will handle invoicing, approvals, and requisitions related to IT expenses while being responsible for additional accruals. While this role involves some accounts payable (AP) functions, the data entry and management aspects are significant.As this role progresses, you may serve as a backup for treasury functions and in-depth training will take place to prepare you for a multi-functional role with the team.
The expectation for this role is you are collaborative and adaptable, as the team works as one often to meet deadlines and while there will be occasional overtime, excellence and teamwork is prioritized.
