- Walk in, clock in, and make your rounds to each chair to make sure stylists have towels and whatever products they need.
- Look for ways to help. Show people where to go when they arrive and treat everyone as if they are an old friend.
- Make authentic recommendations to help customers find products they love.
- Help the team achieve goals by accurately scheduling appointments and closing sales.
- Protect our greatest source of income (time) by effectively communicating policies and following procedures.
- You will have a set schedule, but it will fluctuate from time to time. Occasionally, you will need to work outside your usual hours for special events. Be prepared to work evenings and weekends.
- For your safety, please keep in mind that many tasks will require traveling up and down the stairs, and occasionally carrying up to 50 pounds.

- Answering phones, texts, emails
- Scheduling/pre booking/cancellations management
- Maintaining scoreboard and systems
- Hand massages, and general guest comfort
- Maintaining organization, cleanliness, laundry
- Help build marketing emails and correspondence
- Help with social media
- Support owner and team with small tasks
- Manage general salon communications and inquiries
- Utilities companies, general inquiries, online web presence, etc
- Oversee non-aveda inventory management
- Manage online store
- Maintain accurate inventory counts
- Plan and execute merchandising displays to change on bi-monthly basis
- Correspond with vendors and wholesalers
- Handle wholesale returns and damaged items
- Gain education and advancement through classes online and via travel opportunities
- Help organize scheduling, time off, meetings, travel arrangements, etc
- Learn Phorest software inside and out for maximum efficiency
- Prepare data from reports for quarterly performance reviews and more
- Utilize marketing categories and tools for better outreach
- Oversee Sunshine Society membership
- Help plan events
- Plan member communications
- Decide new perk/reward benefits for rotation throughout year
- Maintain member's lounge with snacks, activities, surprises
- Expect some administrative hours outside of scheduled desk time each week
