    Senior Technical Consultant – PLM and JAVA (Full-time, Remote)

    PROSTEP is a leading software and services firm with over 30 years of industry leading experience in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) with customers in Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Energy, High Tech Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, and many other industries.

    Our customer focused projects range from the implementation of new PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems to large scale global integration and migration projects.

    As a Senior Technical consultant, you will help support and/or lead a breadth of activities to drive the transformation of the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) capabilities for some of the world's largest and most well-known companies.


    Position Summary:


    We are looking for a Senior Technical Consultant with PLM and Java development skillset to help us provide creative enterprise solutions to our clients using our commercial software tools.


    In this position, you will:
    Work with customers as a subject matter expert in PROSTEP tools
    Lead the definition and design of PLM integration and migration solutions
    Interface with system architects, IT professionals, client stakeholders to understand the business requirements
    Analyze and transform business requirements into technical solutions
    Create technical design documents for the implementation of solutions
    Make technical presentations to our end clients
    Design, coding, testing, and delivery of high-quality software solutions to meet the business requirements
    Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of software solutions in customer environment
    Develop your knowledge of and gain project experience in PLM's newest and future solutions

    Minimum Qualifications:
    7+ years of professional experience using Java and Java EE technologies
    Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related major degree
    Experienced with REST webservices, Eclipse IDE, Git, Maven, Apache Tomcat Application Server
    Experienced in CI/CD process and tools Git, BitBucket, SourceTree, Artifactory, Jenkins
    Experienced with at least one PLM application (Teamcenter, Enovia, 3DExperience, Windchill etc.) in a technical role
    Knowledge of CAD applications
    Knowledge of Engineering and Manufacturing processes
    Knowledge of XML, XSD, XSLT, JSON
    Effectively manage projects and provide updates to end clients and internally
    Effectively communicate technical topics
    Strong problem-solving abilities with minimal oversight
    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English)
