    Description


    The Manager, Engineering and Security Operations will manage a team of engineers to support information technology infrastructure of datacenter, corporate office including end user computing.

    Lead the projects to build and maintain a robust infrastructure with scalability, high availability, and security in mind. This role is responsible for implementation, and troubleshooting of server, network, storage, and datacenter technology in hybrid cloud environment.

    This position functions as a technical services escalation contact for IT Support and is accountable for response and resolution Service Level Agreement.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    Manage a team of engineers with diverse skill sets globally and lead by example.

    Act as an escalation point of contact, support in incident resolution and root cause analysis in compliance with defined Service Level Agreement.

    Ensure ITIL service metrics, customer satisfaction is achieved at the organizational level.
    Complete projects by allocating resources and coordinating with respective stakeholders, user departments in compliance with change management process.

    Manage and support cloud infrastructure project, building and supporting IAM, VPC, VPN, Security group, Transit Gateway using Terraform or similar IaaC tool.

    Build, review, approve the infrastructure changes made in the code.
    Setup cloud watch alarms and to alert the system outages and implement auto curing methodologies to maintain zero downtime.
    Optimize the cloud operating cost by reviewing the resource utilization and traffic consumption.
    Ensure AWS infrastructure is secured using KMS, WAF, Guard Duty, and in compliance to corporate security policy.
    Enable auditing services like CloudTrail on AWS and perform HIPAA, SOC2 audit on all AWS services.
    Oversee and manage Operating Procedure Document build, and update IaaC in a hybrid cloud infrastructure model.
    Ensure Operations team following Standard Operating Procedure with no deviation from the organization security policy and standards.
    Work with other teams to assess, isolate, and remediate system issues and deploy new solutions and process as needed

    Plan and conduct periodic disaster recovery test and audit review in compliant with SOC and PHI regulations followed in Med-Metrix and its subsidiaries.

    Perform vulnerability scans, Penetration test and mitigate them before it becomes threat to the organization systems.
    Review security reports from the information systems and tools, act upon to mitigate the risk.
    Develop and review standard operating procedures.
    Prepare real-time dashboards, periodic reports related to operational support, projects and system performance and capacity.
    Maintain vendor relationship, coordinate to resolve issues, and negotiate service credits.
    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience

    Minimum 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of hand-on technical experience and 3+ years of team management experience.

    Cloud experience as solution architect, devops engineer is preferred.
    ITILv3, AWS, Network, Virtualization, and other industry certifications on relevant technology is preferred.
    Ability to work in a rapidly expanding environment.
    Skills
    Experience in IT infrastructure, datacenter, and large/medium size corporate office management.
    Strong Hands-on technical knowledge in two or more domains, network, firewall, server, storage, database, DNS, Load Balancing, etc.

    Experience in Datacenter systems monitoring and performance management tools – PRTG, SolarWinds, Service Desk ticketing tools - Fresh Service, Service Now, and Security management tools - SIEM, Vulnerability Management tools.

    Experience in web content filtering, Data Loss Prevention.
    Experience in AWS cloud infrastructure services, Azure AD, MS365 product suite - Exchange, Intune, MS Defender, MSDATP.
    Experience in IaaC - Terraform, Cloud Formation.
    Excellent analytical, project management and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to demonstrate necessary technical skills and coach the team.
    Understanding of complex network in hybrid environment.
    Establish collaborative working relationship within team and other departments.

    Knowledge in SOC2 Type 2 auditing requirements, HIPAA and HITech Privacy and Security regulations in protecting Electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI).

    Keep abreast of emerging technology, willing to change and influence the team to adapt.
    Exceptional Customer Service and communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to effectively and efficiently present technical information
    Working Conditions
    Ability to travel 25% of the time to US and international locations.
    Work in flexible schedule to manage team at overseas.

    The employee must be able to follow directions, collaborate with others, and handle stress.

    Work Environment:
    The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
