    Company Description

    System-Rail is a firm that specializes in the delivery and design of major train control and CBTC programs across the U.S.

    We provide services in design, engineering, and construction management services for rail transit and systems projects with an emphasis on signals and CBTC.

    System-Rail also offers project management, scheduling, documentation, planning, and on-site field coordination services.

    Role Description
    This is a full-time hybrid role for a Structural Engineer - Railways.

    The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for performing calculations and structural analysis, designing and evaluating railway structures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

    This role requires both on-site work in the San Francisco Bay Area and the flexibility for some remote work.

    Qualifications
    California licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Structural Engineering
    Proficiency in performing calculations and conducting structural analysis
    Experience in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
    Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
    Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
    Strong written and verbal communication skills
    Detail-oriented and organized
    Experience in the railway industry is a plus
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
