    Job Description:

    We are looking for a Design Structural Engineer to join our team at Peter T. Erdelyi & Associates.

    Duties:

    • Structural designer to Perform Structural engineering design and detailing of different types of structures including wood, and steel concrete structures, and foundation design.
    • Performing site evaluations and inspections as required.

    Qualifications:

    • Civil Engineering degree from an accredited university in civil engineering is preferred.
    • A good understanding of building behavior, including knowledge of seismic design in California is preferred.
    • 2 to 3 years of experience in wood, steel, and building engineering is strongly preferred but not required.
    • P.E. is not required.
    • Local candidates only or willing to relocate to Los Angeles
    • Autocad, Enercalc, Risa,
