    Medical Director -Sign on Bonus & Relocation Assistance

    Edgewater Animal Hospital is seeking a Medical Director to join our amazing two-doctor animal practice in Orlando, FL.Can you picture yourself working inparadise andimagine feeling excited to come to work each day working alongside a team of genuinely good people who are dedicated to helping you succeed, be happy and grow both personally and professionally?In addition to joining our two full-time doctors, you will be supported by a team of technicians, and our practice manager.

    Rescue Certified Receptionists/Office Manager are BLS certified, Technicians are BLS and ALS certified
    Serve as a key medical communication liaison between the hospital and area leadership.

    Partner with the Practice Manager to manage the hospital as role models and champions of United Veterinary Care's brand to provide consistent high-quality care and unmatched client experience to the most pets and clients and to maximize efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

    Teach and coach on case management, exam room communication, annual reviews and excellent client service and monthly doctor meetings (refer to doctor meeting best practices document).

    Supports regular staff meetings and holds all staff accountable for knowing what has been discussed and how it impacts the health of the hospital.

    Sets the medical vision for the hospital, advocating and ensuring medical quality with optimum client experience.
    Works supportively with the hospital (practice) manager in understanding administrative and personnel issues while building effective teams.
    Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
