    Description

    ARTEZONA, Inc. is seeking an energetic, reliable, and task-oriented independent contractor to carry out an array of tasks related to Marketing & Outreach. This is a project-based position and can be performed remotely with Zoom and/or in-person meetings.

    The ideal applicant is a marketing specialist person who owns a PC-compatible laptop or desktop computer, is motivated and efficient with experience in all facets of digital marketing. Must also have good listening skills along with a positive solution-oriented approach to situations as they arise. An interest in ART is preferable.

    The ideal candidate will assist in achieving our primary operational goals:

    1) Create visual and narrative content using branding guidelines

    2) Promote brand across all digital & social media platforms

    3) Provide PR outreach via networking and other channels

    4) Identify and contact appropriate media outlets to build brand awareness

    5) Maintain and update website

    6) Research fund development opportunities

    Applicant must be Proficient in:

    • Social Media practices for FB, IG & Twitter
    • Microsoft Office, mainly Word, and Excel
    • Email communications and etiquette
    • Canva, or other graphic design / photo-editing software
    • Planoly, or similar social media planner
    • DropBox and file management
    • Calendly or similar scheduling software

    Basic Duties include:

    Communications – Preparing copy and visual content for social media posts using Canva for design and Planoly (or similar social media planner) for scheduling. Researching art news, trending topics, and art-related data. Frequent interaction with artists and art organizations via phone calls, texts, and emails using friendly business etiquette. Attentive listening skills with a responsive solution-oriented approach.

    Organization – Reviewing and organizing artists' grant application materials into electronic folders. Updating website. Maintaining contact database.

    Fundraising Support – Proactive involvement and networking with the artist community and arts organizations to promote ARTEZONA's mission. Offer ideas for improvement, growth, and other helpful feedback.
