As an enthusiastic and high-energy Data Center Technician, you will have the chance to grow your career with us. We are seeking a motivated and organized professional to join our Data Center Solutions team at our Coppell, TX location.

This full-time position offers competitive pay and may involve scheduled overnight and weekend work.

Responsibilities:

Assist with data center maintenance activities under the guidance of the Data Center Operations Manager.
Perform hands-on rack and stack of data center equipment and structured cabling installations.
Help in building suites within a co-location facility, including cabinet installation and equipment racking.
Participate in current and new setup cabling, including copper and fiber patching.
Install new hardware such as switches, servers, storage devices, firewalls, and routers.
Diagnose and repair server hardware alongside the IT Services Desk Team.
Monitor the data center's environment, power usage, network ports, and climate.
Proactively address hardware alerts to ensure optimal data center performance.
Assist with security deployment and implementation.
Decommission old hardware responsibly and assist with security policies.
Manage hardware inventory, conduct installations, vendor meetings, and update rack documentation.
Exhibit strong leadership qualities, communication skills, and client focus.
Execute test procedures to ensure installation completeness and assist in project delivery.
Learn to plan and execute data center design projects including cabling, network, and server equipment installation.

Qualifications:

1 to 3 years of relevant experience in Data Center Operations, Data Center Technician, or Data Center Hardware Support.
Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of low-voltage cabling standards and hands-on server and network gear installation.
Understanding of data center operations, facilities, and IT constructs.
Basic experience with IT construction or data center buildout is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and structured cabling knowledge.
Strong time management, follow-up skills, work ethic, and client-centric focus.
