    Our client, a large Japanese telecom company, is looking for an IT Support Technician for their Operations Center. The incumbent will troubleshoot and resolve various issues, process tickets and monitoring alerts in a timely manner, provide updates to customers and internal departments, resolve critical system issues on a 24/7 basis, perform system maintenance activities, monitor service and facility performance, conduct on-site investigations and process remote hand requests. CCNA and CCNP certifications are preferred.

    [Job Overview]

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Will work in a 24x7 Operation Center environment performing a wide variety of tasks including:

    1) Problem troubleshooting and resolution, including interaction with site contacts, carriers, vendors, and various departments in their affiliated companies.

    2) Ensure tickets and monitoring alerts are handled per pre-defined SLAs for response time, updates, and closure.

    3) Provide periodical updates to customers and various internal departments.

    4) Resolve critical system issues 24/7, including notifying, coordinating, and dispatching individuals from various functional groups and providers.

    5) Perform internal system maintenance activity.

    6) Monitor the status and performance of the affiliate's services and facilities.

    7) Handing remote hand requests from related party.

    8) Perform KDDI-related site inspection.

    9) The primary location for this job is listed above. However, depending on the project status, other locations in Plano, TX, area will be assigned temporarily.

    Qualifications / Requirements:

    1) Has basic understanding of Networking and IT infrastructure.

    2) Clear communicator both written and verbal.

    3) Capable of multi-tasking, time management and prioritization of workload.

    4) Ability to assess faults and priorities, respond, and escalate accordingly.

    5) Willing to learn and develop new skills.

    6) Co-operate with teammates and other departments.

    7) Always think "Customer first".

    8) CCNA and CCNP are preferred.


    Working hours:

    24/7 Shift rotation (7:00-19:00 / 19:00-7:00 CT) includes weekends and holidays.
