This role involves working within the community, traveling between Shoreline and Federal Way to different Nursing Homes, with the main office base located in Burien.

FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: M-F

Position Summary

The Mental Health Professional position offers a rewarding clinical experience focusing on counseling and case management. As part of this role, you will manage a caseload and deliver interventions following established treatment guidelines and protocols, with the opportunity to advocate for your patients actively.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized counseling, advocacy, and case management for patients
Create treatment plans that clearly outline patient perspectives, treatment approaches, and specific outcome measures
Adhere to agency documentation standards and contract authorization requirements
Deliver tailored clinical and case management services to address diverse patient needs effectively
Support MultiCare's core values and meet performance expectations by engaging in continuous learning and fulfilling other necessary duties

Requirements

Hold the designation of a Mental Health Professional as per WAC guidelines for Behavioral Health organizations, which includes:
A psychiatrist, psychologist, psychiatric nurse, or social worker as defined in chapters 71.05 and 71.34 RCW
A professional licensed by the Department of Health as a mental health counselor, mental health counselor associate, marriage and family therapist, or marriage and family therapist associate
Hold a master's degree or higher in counseling or a related field from an accredited institution, along with at least two years of direct experience in treating individuals with mental health issues
Meet the waiver criteria of RCW established prior to 1986
Preferred experience in delivering mental health counseling services
Possess a valid Washington State driver's license and demonstrate a safe driving record meeting MultiCare Standards through a motor vehicle report

However, actual compensation depends on individual factors such as skills, experience level, certifications, and education.
