is hiring a VP of Strategic Marketing and Product Management In order to keep Marmon Aerospace and Defense aligned with their company goals, the Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Product Management will oversee group innovation & strategic marketing strategies and partner with sales segments to help execute strategic marketing & innovation initiatives.
As the Vice President of Strategic Marketing at Marmon Aerospace and Defense, you will be at the forefront of developing and executing marketing and product management strategies.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the go-to-market approach, focusing on driving growth through innovative product development and introduction.
This unique opportunity allows you to build functional capabilities and a high-performance team. The ideal candidate comes from a wire and cable background.In this role, you will lead all activities of the marketing and product management teams to surpass goals in sales and profit growth.

What you will do:
Lead, coach, and oversee the Marketing and Product Management functions, with the aim of driving business growth and surpassing objectives.
Develop comprehensive growth strategies, outlining both long-term (5-year) plans and annual operating plans.
Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.
Devise and execute integrated marketing plans to enhance brand awareness and stimulate demand for our solutions, emphasizing the value propositions of our primary brands: Marmon Aerospace and Defense, Kitco Fiber Optics, TE Wire, and Harbour Industries.
Conduct research to garner insights on products, customers, and markets, identifying avenues for company growth and leveraging company capabilities for competitive advantage.
Define market segmentation, selection, and positioning of offerings within target segments.Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, QA, and upper management to drive innovation and develop new offerings.
Manage pricing strategies to ensure profitability. Implement value based pricing, price setting and management, and pricing performance metrics. Collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure alignment and flowless execution.
Facilitate sales efforts through the development of key account business plans, identifying needs and devising winning strategies for key accounts.
Support superior customer experience by coordinating and managing customer project needs and expectations.Who you are:
You are a proven leader with a track record of building high performance teams. You are collaborative and have experience with key cross-functional stakeholders in engineering and manufacturing.
You have a four-year college degree from an accredited institution; master's in business administration (MBA) or equivalent is preferred.
You have 10-15 years experience in strategic marketing, product management, business planning or related management role.
You are willing to travel to engage with employees and customers.
You are able to travel up to 50% of the time and occasionally take extended trips that could include weekends.
You have experience leading pricing strategy and execution.You have demonstrated experience in all aspects of integrated marketing including promotion, advertising, content development and event execution.
You have experience with product management and new product development.
You have a high level of financial and business acumen.
You display executive presence to influence senior decision makers
You have exposure to the wire and cable industry; technical knowledge of wire and cable and products is a plus.
