- Build strategy plan, retail forecast and budgets for brand development and growth
- Develop business cases with team and forecast proposals for new products/sku's
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to execute brand strategy/launch
- Collaborate with Retail Experience to implement marketing direction on launch displays and eventing collatoral
- Establish advertising strategy with Consumer Connections team to align on media direction and platforms
- Foster strong field relationship for sell-thru pulse and product feedback
- Oversee development of all product concepts, product names and package co, including set development where applicable - in collaboration with International Marketing/ Retail marketing
- Work with CMI team and COE teams to establish appropriate test plans for new products (when applicable)
- Analyze all new product launch results and business impact
- Ensure all launch timetables are met
- Analyzes sales data, industry trends, product reviews, and competitive research to identify actionable insights
- Deeply researches customers' brands to bring recommendations to the sales
- Complete knowledge of unit/dollar volume for each product within brand responsibility - both retail and net
- Focus on new launch and pillar tracking + understanding of what drove volume
- Analyze all pertinent costs on finished goods, samples and collateral
- Propose and budget marketing programs to support brands
- Prepare information for bi-annual phase-out decisions, reviewing obsolete inventory levels and lost revenue implications
- 10-15 years of experience in fragrance/beauty marketing and product in US landscape
- Strong business acumen and understanding of fragrance consumer as well as the Gen Z consumer
- Entrepreneurial spirit, attention to detail, customer-first mindset
- Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and manage complexity
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with cross-functional departments
- Oversee, nurture and develop category team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

What You Will Do:
The AVP of brand marketing will be responsible for managing and growing projects and people in their respective category. A strong interest in fragrance space and deep knowledge of the US fragrance landscape is critical. The ability to analyze market segments to determine need gaps in portfolio online and offline, and key consumer targets are essential to the position. Responsible for brand strategy and business performance as it relations to Fragrances, this role will work in conjunction with Retail Marketing, Consumer Connections and International Marketing counterparts to ensure U.S. needs are met in the development of all products/product concepts, consumer activations and experiences.
