Corning Optical Communications Sales Representative

Purpose of Position:

Maximize the sale of Corning Optical Communications (COC) products in Southern California to drive business growth and ensure company success.
Develop and implement a sales plan focused on delivering network solutions that harness Corning's comprehensive capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
3+ years of Sales and/or Marketing experience.
Strong Solution Selling Capabilities and Consultative Communication skills.
Proven success in time/territory management.

Desired Qualifications:

Thorough understanding of Corning's products and value proposition.
Experience in telecommunications, fiber-optics, and distribution sales.
Effective teaching, training, and motivational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Meet or exceed sales targets for assigned products.
Create preference for Corning Optical Communications' products over competitors through sales calls.
Manage sales calls to various customer categories effectively.

Other Requirements:

Valid driver's license.
50% travel required.
Must be based in Southern California or open to relocation.

Benefits:

Competitive salary ranging from $71,000 to $98,000.
