    Description

    Data Power Admin

    Duration: 12 months (likely extension)

    Location: Southern California

    Summary:

    Perform administration responsibilities for the GDC Data Power instances including project and operational support and maintenance for the GMS/ADMS interfaces passing through Data Power. Specifically, this position will have operational responsibility to conduct assessment for fixes / enhancements and implement as needed, provide troubleshooting for interface related incidents from users, perform proactive routine maintenance including application monitoring, patching (testing, outage scheduling, deployment). Administration of OpenShift Kubernetes platform.

    Responsible to provide operational support (tier 2/3) involving sophisticated, technical issues to ensure timely resolution. Provide technical guidance to members of the tier 1 and 2 support teams. Suggests actions to prevent future system issues utilizing ITIL Problem management such as RCA.

    The preferred:

    Experience in administration of IBM Datapower Gateway or similar Web Server/Integration Platforms such as MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Amazon API Gateway, Apigee, IBM WebSphere, etc

    Experience in RESTful webservices, SOAP.

    Experience in securing Web Services, Mutual Auth, OAuth 2.0 and Digital Certificates.

    Deployment experience in OpenShift Kubernetes or other Kubernetes platforms

    Experience in Docker

    Experience on NGINX, F5 Load Balancers and VIPs.

    • Experience in Software development methodologies Agile Methodology, Scrum and Waterfall software development processes.

    Expertise in WSDL, XML, XSLT, JSON, XPATH and IBM DataPower Gateway scripts

    Experience working in an DevOps environment including pipeline deployment of Data Power configuration and scripts integrating with tools such as GitHub, Nexus and Tekton or Jenkins

    Computer Science or Engineering degree
