    Description

    Job Summary:

    Field Inventory Specialist will aid in managing and controlling inventory through various sales and distribution channels, including field inventory-based modes such as loaners, consignment, trunk stock. The specialist will ensure efficient asset utilization and compliance with agreements and policies while analyzing product turnover to optimize stock rotation and minimize losses from expiry. Additionally, they will review operational processes and data to pinpoint areas for enhancement.

    Job Details:

    • Monitor Loaner Inventory accuracy and end-user customer service levels during deployment and returns cycle.
    • Provide oversight for effective inventory management and deployment across multiple channels and locations.
    • Conduct cycle counts and auditing programs for consigned and representative based inventories.
    • Maintain integrity of inventory systems by monitoring and reconciling inventory transactions.
    • Collaborate with managers to enforce consignment and inventory policies, resolving related issues.
    • Assist in controlling inventory covered by consignment agreements to ensure compliance and optimal asset utilization.
    • Adhere to Quality System requirements and offer improvement suggestions for department/company performance.
    • Analyze inventory utilization, recommend par levels, and provide data analysis for production planning.
    • Offer guidance and training on policies and procedures to internal and external parties.
    • Maintain inventory performance metrics, prepare month-end reports, and participate in physical inventory counts.
    • Address logistics issues and contribute to supply chain services, inventory control, material handling, and more.
    • Demonstrate commitment to patient safety and product quality by complying with Quality Systems requirements.

    Position Requirements:

    • Understanding of inventory control, supply chain, and logistics environment.
    • Ability to manage loaner inventory, just-in-time inventory, and accurate inventory redistribution effectively.
    • Analytical aptitude, adaptability, exceptional communication skills, and a focus on process improvement.
    • Creative problem-solving skills, ability to handle high workload accurately under time constraints.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

    Background Experiences:

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, management, or supply chain functions.
    • Experience with ERP systems, logistical systems, and standard operating procedures.
    • Prior experience coordinating and managing field-based inventories in medical device or pharmaceutical industries.
    • Experience with SAP is highly desired.
