    We are searching for aRegional Sales Manager - Eastto join our Independent Channel sales team to manage a team of five Territory Managers and two Key Account Managers across the eastern half of the U.S.

    This person is responsible for ensuring excellent execution and measurement of the sales fundamentals at retail (Assortment, Merchandising, Pricing and Shelving).

    This role will also be responsible for the training of Territory Managers in the field, assisting on key customer calls, attending trade shows, ultimately delivering U.S.

    direct and indirect revenue goals.

    What You-ll Accomplish

    Lead the execution of retail fundamentals and company priorities across the eastern U.S.

    Analyze field reporting data (via Repsly) and OTD data (via CoopDigity) to plan execution and measure results.

    Ensure execution of corporate go-to-market strategy and supplement as needed with account specific programming.

    Manage trade funds and conduct ROI analysis.

    Create and implement new item launch plans.

    Identify and develop strong working relationships across field sales, distribution, and Key Account managers across the Independent sales team.

    Champion business needs for the eastern U.S. and accounts within them.

    Demonstrate clear ownership, leadership, and accountability.

    Communicate crucial market, trade, and competitive information on a timely basis.

    In addition, for this specific role, we need someone who is a consumer products sales professional located in the eastern U.S.

    who can travel 60-80% of the time.


    Other requirements include:
    A bachelor-s degree in business, marketing, or a related area of study.

    7+ years of proven success and progression within the Sales function in the CPG industry.

    Experience managing a sales team.

    Strong relationship management skills, including organizational analysis and negotiating skills.

    Highly analytical with a proven ability and understanding of Key Performance Indicators.

    Effective control of process and projects; detail oriented and organized.

    Customer focused with high standards of integrity.

    Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

    Energized by a fast paced and high change environment.
