    Sales & Service Manager at Northern Bank

    In collaboration with the Business Development Manager, the Sales & Service Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the branch team to success through consistent coaching and development. The ideal candidate recognizes the paramount importance of delivering top-notch customer service and strives to provide exceptional white-glove service to both internal and external customers. A natural-born leader who can think creatively to cater to customers' needs while upholding the Bank's integrity. Possesses strong operational expertise and in-depth knowledge of daily retail branch operations. Skilled at identifying customers' financial requirements and suggesting suitable products to enhance customer relationships. Proficient in the Bank's products and services to effectively convey the advantages of our financial solutions.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Utilize experience and leadership skills to guide, mentor, and empower the team for success
    • Recognize sales prospects to enhance customer relationships and reinforce customer loyalty through internal sales referrals & outreach initiatives
    • Engage with potential clients and existing customers to introduce new products and services based on their needs
    • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of retail products and services and mentor the team to achieve the same level of expertise
    • Set a high standard of customer service by showcasing and ensuring the team's development of product knowledge and delivering exceptional experiences to all customers
    • In collaboration with the Business Development Manager, oversee and supervise the branch's performance concerning operational integrity, customer service excellence, and sales integrity
    • Proficient in all BSA/AML regulations, laws, requirements, and Bank policies relevant to the assigned job responsibilities
    • Deliver operational excellence by taking charge of daily branch operations. Assist in handling operational issues and branch-related concerns efficiently
    • Engage actively in staff performance management processes, including continuous coaching, feedback provision, performance evaluations, and proactive management of performance issues
    • Cultivate a company-wide ethos of "white glove" service. Consistently exhibit a positive attitude towards internal and external customers, understanding the importance of teamwork in achieving optimal outcomes

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2-3 years of banking experience mandatory
    • Preferably Assistant Branch Manager experience
    • Outstanding communication, sales, and customer service abilities
    • Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and efficiently managing time
    • Demonstrated history of exceptional performance in bank operations such as audits, CIP/KYC compliance, etc.
